Gone are the days when Bluetooth speakers, being small and compact, were not able to satisfy all the needs of users. The new Tronsmart Force 2 speaker has arrived to prove it to you. This is a portable speaker that is not only compact and very useful for listening to music outdoors. It is also very powerful and has good enough sound quality to listen to music at home and even to replace the internal speakers of the TV. It works for everything!
The Tronsmart Force 2 offers you 30W powerful sound with very intense bass in a fairly compact size. In addition, it has a brutal autonomy that allows you to listen to up to 15 hours of music without stopping. It connects via Bluetooth 5.0 to your devices, it has IPX7 water resistance, it can be synchronized with up to 100 speakers, and much more… We’ve tried it, we’ll tell you if the Tronsmart Force 2 is really good.
The Tronsmart Force 2 on test, how powerful is its sound?
What surprised us the most about the Tronsmart Force 2 is how powerful it sounds despite how small it is. We noticed the same thing in the Tronsmart T6 Plus and it is due to the patented SoundPulse technology used by the brand, which guarantees a sound of up to 40W with deep bass and well-defined voices in a compact size. Thanks to this technology, the Tronsmart Force 2 speaker will allow you to listen to music with very good quality at a high volume both in the pool and at home when watching movies, for example.
The features that we liked the most about this speaker are the following:
- Very compact size: It measures just 163 x 72 x 64 mm and weighs 672 grams.
- Powerful 30W sound: Very good bass with clear, clean highs that bring out vocals exceptionally well.
- Bluetooth 5.0 – Uses Qualcomm’s QCC3021 chip for stable, lag-free Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity with support for AAC, SBC and A2DP codecs. It has a range of up to 10 meters.
- Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri: It has a microphone so you can listen and answer calls from the speaker itself. In fact, you can synchronize it with your mobile to use Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri assistants with it.
- Total IPX7 water resistance: it is protected against splashes and can even withstand being submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.
- Great autonomy: with a single charge it allows you to listen to up to 15 hours of music without interruption (at a volume of 50%).
- Easy to use – Just turn it on and the speaker will automatically pair via Bluetooth with your phone or other devices. Plus, it only has four buttons for the functions you need (Power, Volume Up/Down, and Bluetooth).
- The only thing that we did not like very much is its buttons. It would be more practical to have them tactile to be able to interact without having to pick up the speaker. Even so, it is something that will not affect many because it is normal to control it from the mobile.
Design and connections of the Tronsmart Force 2
The Tronsmart Force 2 is made entirely of very resistant plastic. Its surface has a matte coating that makes it very smooth and pleasant to the touch. Overall, the build quality is excellent, as can be expected from this brand. The speaker casing feels solid and sturdy, and its fabric-covered grille provides excellent grip. It has a barrel-type design so you can put it both vertically and horizontally. You can even hang it with the built-in cord that it has.
Apart from the four buttons that it has to control the volume, Bluetooth, and to turn it on or off, the Tronsmart Force 2 has a waterproof compartment where it’s USB-C and AUX ports are. The USB-C is used for charging and the AUX is so you can use the speaker by cable when you can’t connect it via Bluetooth. By the way, next to the power button it has a small LED so you know if it’s on, off, or charging.
A very interesting feature of the Tronsmart Force 2 is that it can be synchronized with other brand speakers via Bluetooth 5.0. Specifically, it can be paired with up to 100 speakers, making them all play the same thing in unison to cover very large spaces with their powerful sound. In this mode, one speaker will be the main speaker, while the others will have to be linked, one after another. So, if you have more than one Tronsmart speaker, don’t forget to try this great feature to set up your own sound system anywhere easily.
How is the sound quality of the Tronsmart Force 2?
In general, the Tronsmart Force 2 sounds very good. It is very powerful for its size and maintains sound quality at any volume. Of course, as with almost any speaker or headset, if you put it at maximum volume, the audio can be a little distorted. Keep it at 85% – 90% volume at most and you won’t notice any blemishes in quality.
It’s worth noting that this speaker is factory set so that the highs sound natural, very clear and clean, which makes vocals pop. In addition, it has two passive radiators that make the bass sound amazingly good: they have a lot of presence and you can really feel them making the speaker rumble. You can change all these audio settings yourself with a good mobile equalizer.
