Design of the Edifier TWS NB2
The Edifier TWS NB2s come in black and white color options with a silver stem, giving them a high quality and very stylish metallic look. The angular design with multiple flat sides along the stem also contributes to the brand’s distinctive and innovative approach.
Despite the metallic look of the stem, the earphones have a plastic construction that makes them lightweight. Throughout the design, the material has a matte finish that helps hide any scratches or wear that can occur with regular use, so they should look their best for a long time.
The stems also house the touch controls that can be used for track control, listening mode adjustment, and call control, but unfortunately, they don’t support volume control directly through the headphones.
The inner part of the Edifier TWS NB2 has a rounded shape that gives it a comfortable and secure fit in the ear. The bottom has ear detection sensors that automatically play and pause what you hear when you put on or take off the headphones.
The rubber ear cushions also fit comfortably in the ear and there are a couple of other sizes in the pretty fancy box if you want to go a size larger or smaller.

The Edifier Connect app (for Android and iOS) lets you switch between ANC and Ambient modes, and there are a few basic settings you can adjust, like in-ear detection mode.

The quality of the microphones on the TWS NB2 is fine, they are not the most sophisticated microphones, so your voice may sound muffled, but they pick up the voice at an audible volume and that makes them usable for phone calls or voice memos.
They sound good, but they tend to make your voice sound more distant and harder to distinguish the more you talk. The other end of the line can be heard very clearly, but voice transmission does not work as well as desired.

The TWS NB2s offer robust bass depth and sparkling highs. The sound signature may be too shaped and clipped for some listeners, but many will enjoy the powerful bass.
